After a number of years of not being able to access it due to Vodafone UK nixing my old mobile number and causing issues with a sh*tload of websites that require OTP codes as a security step, I finally got back into my sodding Twitch account recently.
All it needed was:
- A newer phone capable of running the latest apps (£179.99 from savings)
- The Authy app by Twilio (seemed to be a crapload of fake/alternate ones)
- Waiting a few days while they fannied on reviewing my change of number request.
Currently it’s a case of wait and see if/what I do with the account now I can get into it, previously I originally got it back when the likes of Matt from DemolitionRanch and Rob from LunkersTV were running game nights on there with their YouTube fans.
