After roughly 10yrs of trying, around this time last month I finally managed to successfully upgrade to a replacement for my trusty old iPhone 3GS smartphone.
It took just over a year of saving, but after 2-3yrs of looking longingly at it as an option, I finally upgraded to a refurbished iPhone 12 Mini in Black, with 128GB of onboard storage.
I’ve paired it with a TORRO phone case, made from genuine black leather rather than the fake PVC leather crap some of my previous cases have been made from that eventually start flaking like a chimney sweep with bad dandruff.
The past month or so trying to get the hang of a version of iOS newer than version 5.1.1 (9B206) has flown past with iOS 17.6.1 and being able to use the latest version of various apps again. Though some of my old favourite apps appear to be dead now.

I’ve taken advantage of the new phone’s ability to run 2 lines via a physical SIM card and an eSIM, though not the way round I wanted to do it.
I’m trying to get back up to speed creating stuff for my social media presences to try lure traffic back to this and my other websites in another vain attempt to get the trickle of money from advertising flowing again.
